For the last week such companies as WeitMedia (Russia), RAI (Italy), Daro Film Distribution (Monaco), Cineflix (United Kingdom) have confirmed their participation in KYIV MEDIA WEEK events. We would like to admit activity of Kazakh companies. At the moment seven companies from Kazakhstan have registered for the participation in KYIV MEDIA WEEK.

Joel Chapron is Central and Eastern European manager for the promotion of French cinema abroad UNIFRANCE. For more than fifteen years he has been working with the Cannes Film Festival, drawing up a short-list of films from the ex-USSR and Eastern Europe and since 2006 he has been selecting Eastern European films for the Locarno Film Festival as well. On the Conference "Film Business in Ukraine" MR. Chapron will tell how to combine both creative and commercial components in film production, will share the French experience in this question and will also explain how to use the main principles of such combination in our market.
