For the first time in Ukraine we present unique project Ideas Pitching initiated by 1+1 TV Channel.

Ideas Pitching – is the presentation of innovative original entertaining TV projects by independent authors. The Ideas Pitching project has been initiated by 1+1 TV Channel and the organizer is Media Resources Management. The project’s Final was held on September 11, 2012 in course of the Format Show conference.

“No media group could be successful without great content. That’s why we are looking for new ideas and creative projects. This year channel 1+1 decided to proof an experiment and initiated the public contest Ideas Pitching. We want to discover new talents, find original and innovative ideas, and implement the best idea into real life” – comments Alexander Tkachenko, Director General 1+1 Media.

As for the Ukrainian media industry it’s unprecedented event that gives great chance to everyone who wants to get direct access to broadcaster and unique opportunity to implement the idea at the leading TV channel. Ideas Pitching is initiated by 1+1 Group of Companies and we as KYIV MEDIA WEEK organizers proud of this great project and more to say also we are happy that there are companies in Ukraine moving national media community to high international standards” - comments Victoria Yarmoshchuk, Director of Media Resource Management.

Following the main selection criterias of the project (innovation, creativity, novelty and potential of the entertaining TV program slate production) more than 80 original ideas were chosen. Five Ideas Pitching finalists were selected by an expert jury - leading Ukrainian TV specialists. The finalists have presented their projects on September 11, 2012 to the audience of Format Show conference, in course of which the Final of the contest was held.

Besides for the Ideas Pitching Final round three special guest experts were invited:

Alla Lipovetska - Story First Production, TV Programs General Producer, Russia

Avi Armoza - Armoza Formats General Director, Israel

As a result – “Family or Heart Knows No Law” by Vladimir Moskalets became the Ideas Pitching winner project.
