The largest Israeli format developer Armoza Formats will take part in KYIV MEDIA WEEK for the second consecutive year. Last year the company’s founder and CEO Avi Armoza was one of the speakers at the Format Show conference. This year new popular formats from Armoza will be presented at the Ukrainian Content Market and during the Format Show.
Ukrainian market and the markets of CIS are rapidly developing and drawing great interest of the leading international format distributors: for example, in 2011 Armoza Formats for the first time signed a deal with Russian TV-channel СТС. The TV channel acquired rights to adapt Comedians at Work, which is broadcasted in Israel for the 7th consecutive season, and earlier was also adapted in Germany and Norway. MTV Russia acquired rights for the format Foreplay. Several other titles of Armoza Formats were acquired by Ukrainian TV channels: in 2010 1+1 channel signed a deal for reality show Connected, wheal in 2011 STB signed up to make the local version of Till Our Parents Do Us Part and With This Ring. 1+1 channel is adapting for Ukrainian audience two new series from Armoza Formats: Shall We Kiss and Wedding Daze. Shall We Kiss was earlier adapted for the Central Europe by HBO.
