TV Azteca, one of the leading companies in Latin America has joined Ukrainian Content Market

TV Azteca the second largest telecom in Mexico after Televisa has joined the list of participants of Ukrainian Content Market which will be held on September 12-14, 2012 in course of international mediaforum KYIV MEDIA WEEK. Company has booked its own business suit at the UCM floor beforehand.

TV Azteca, Mexican multimedia conglomerate owned by Grupo Salinas was founded in 1993. The company is principally engaged in the entertainment production and television broadcasting. It mainly focuses on series (telenovelas) raising burning social issues. Such projects are very popular in CIS region.

TV Azteca owns and operates the Azteca 7 and Azteca 13 television channels, as well as Canal 40, an ultra high frequency (UHF) channel broadcasted in Mexico City. It also controls Azteca America, a Hispanic television network in the United States; Azteca Music, an events promotion company; as well as it operates Azteca Internet, an Internet portal and electronic trade platform for North American Spanish-speakers. As of December 31, 2011, the company owned such subsidiaries as Television Azteca SA de CV, Red Azteca Internacional SA de CV, Atletico Morelia SA de CV, Servicios Especializados TAZ SA de CV and Lasimex SA de CV, among others.

Earlier such world-known format productions as Televisa, Endemol, Zodiak Rights, A+E Networks, Cineflix, DRG and some other companies have booked stands at the UCM floor in order to present their catalogue during the event. The full list of UCM participants is available on KYIV MEDIA WEEK website.
