Only one month is left to the international media forum, which will complement its traditional program with special events, devoted to the most burning topics of the industry. Registration for three new events that will be held in the course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2016 is now open!
One of KYIV MEDIA WEEK objectives is to gather media professionals from around the world in Kyiv and search for effective solutions to the most current problems of the industry.
This time, Media Resources Management, the organizer of the media forum, identified its key theme as MEDIA BUSINESS 360°. Among other things, it involves emphasizing on Ukraine's integration into the global context and filming process, as well as special attention to the subject of cross-platform activity and convergence that enables different industry players work together to solve the complex challenges they face. Thus, MEDIA BUSINESS 360° means not just moving forward, but expanding every each way and affect all spheres.
That’s why the traditional KMW events line-up – FORMAT SHOW, PayTV in Ukraine, Film Business and Television as Business conferences, KIEV CoProduction Meetings, as well as, of course, the traditional flagship of the forum, Ukrainian Content Market – will be supplemented with new special events. Namely:
How to improve the effectiveness of advertising, making it an integral part of the content interesting to the viewer? The answer to this burning question will be given by the speakers: Konstantin Kuznetsov, co-owner of PA Dialla (official representative of Cannes Lions in Ukraine), Elena Martynova, strategic marketing executive of 1+1 Media and Oksana Stekhina, Director of business development at Dentsu Aegis Network Ukraine, representatives of Starlight Sales (names of the speakers will be announced soon). The program will include the analysis and discussion of real cases, based on the best global and Ukrainian experience.
Round table Capital of Ukraine – capital of filming: new opportunities and prospects of Kyiv cinematography
The discussion, organized by KYIV MEDIA WEEK and Motion Picture Association of Ukraine with the participation of Kyiv City State Administration, is aimed at facilitating the emergence of Kyiv Film Commission. The Commission’s key goal will be to create an entry point, which will simplify the paperwork procedures for film crews and thus will make Kyiv an attractive location for content creators. The establishing of the Commission will be absolutely beneficial for business and the city: both from financial and image-building point of view.
All members of the initiative – StarLightMedia, Inter Media Group, Media Group Ukraine, FILM.UA Group, Star Media, Pro TV, Studio Kvartal 95, and Odessa Film Studio – will present their fresh series and other scripted content. The event will also include panel discussion, dedicated to the results of the initiative’s first year. In particular, the participants will hear about the status of draft law ‘On the State Support of the Cinematography in Ukraine’ #3081-d.
