MIPTV 2012: short summary of MRM company participation

These days the world media community is faced with really ‘hot’ season. As far as during last week everyone, whose activity is somehow related to media content production, distribution, acquisition and financing, was focused on MIPTV - international audiovisual content market, which was traditionally held at  Palais des Festivals et des Congrès (Cannes, France) on April 1-4, 2012. As noted by some Cannes market frequenters, in comparison with last spring MIP, a certain participants’ activity decrease was evident. Nevertheless, this time Cote d'Azur hosted 1500 exhibitors and more than 2000 visiting companies (upon the whole – almost 11 000 media market players from 111 countries).

Media Resources Management (MRM) company was no exception. Traditionally MRM took active part in the Market as well as in the range of other industrial events in course of MIPTV.

On MIPTV 2012 first Ukrainian mediaconsulting company’s interests were presented by: MRM director Victoria Yarmoshchuk and company’s project manager Kateryna Udut. During the Market a range of meetings with MRM clients and partners were held, as well as with current and potential KYIV MEDIA WEEK (KMW) participants. Summarizing dozens of meetings with core foreign media companies, it stands to mention, that most of them not only know about wide spectrum of services provided by MRM, but also they confirm considerable practical benefits of their participation in KMW-2011 events, namely Ukrainian Content Market and Format Show. Most notably, British companies Fremantle Media, Cineflix, DRG, Zodiak Rights, Endemol and Passion Distribution, Armoza Formats (Israel), Global Agency (Turkey), Banijay International (France) etc. have already confirmed their attendance in KMW 2012. No less important - such a world known telenovelas producers like Venevision International (USA), RCN Television (Columbia) и Caracol (Columbia) are going to present their premiers in course of Format Show 2012.

MRM holds out the hope that spring Cannes were successful and beneficial for all company’s partners and friends, and looking forward to seeing everyone on the upcoming KYIV MEDIA WEEK, that will be held in Kyiv on September 11-14, 2012.
