Nicola SODERLUND

Nicola Sоderlund is the managing partner at Swedish company Eccho Rights (a part of Sparks Eccho Group) that deals with international sales both ready-made programs of TV series and formats. Nicola Söderlund has worked in TV business for almost 30 years, started at Strix Television, founded Think Big Television, MD at Nordisk Film & TV (Banijay), President at Sparks Network and lately Eccho Rights. Long-term experience of the expert includes the work with the variety of TV genres: talk shows, entertainment programs, TV series, documentary projects and etc. 

In 1995 Nicola founded Think Big Television with one of most famous TV hosts in Sweden, Adam Alsing. Think Big was an instant success and after one year they sold the company to the Danish film and TV-production outfit Nordisk Film which is a part of the Egmont group. With Nordisk Nicola remained as Managing Director for six years until he resigned in 2003 with the intention to create a worldwide network of producers - Sparks Network.

While working on the business plan for Sparks Network, Nicola was approached by TV4 and was asked to take part in the launch of the new subsidiary channel TV4 plus where he was appointed Commissioning Editor.

Sparks Network became operative in February 2004 and has since then constantly built its reputation in the international TV-business and is there now regarded as one of the major players.
