In 1996-1997 worked as deputy head of production of 40 parts of the original television series for TV Markíza "Silvánovci" and in 1998 went for half a year in Zimbabwe, where did the deputy head of production for the filming of the feature film Dušan Rapoš "Fountain for Susan 3 ". After returning from Africa in 1999 she started to work in Radio Twist as an assistant and later as Deputy Executive Director, and in 2001 she went to Divadlo Nová Scéna to the post of statutory representative.
In 2002, Minister of Culture Milan Kňažko appointed her to the post of Director of Divadlo Nová Scéna remained in this position until 2006. During this period, new scenes recorded a record attendance, the highest revenues in its history and the Ministry of Culture surveys fell as effectively managed and functioning theatre in Slovakia. Under the leadership of Hrycová New Theatre introduced titles like Cage of Fools, Hair, Cleopatra, The Full Monty, Painted on Glass, Hello, Dolly! or Do not take us princess.
In 2008, Wandal Production's musical The Producers became Slovak "smash hit", which in recent years swept the world and has recently been reported in more than thirty countries around the world. In 2013, Wanda Adamík Hrycová has been producing the epic Colette as a co-producer as well as she is a co-producer of Slovak-Ukrainian crime thriller "The Line" (2017).
