Rolandas KVIETKAUSKAS

Since August 2012 a Director of the Lithuanian Film Centre. Film New Europe association member from Lithuania . 

2010 – 2012 served as an Adviser to the Minister of Culture. Before that (2009 – 2010) was a director of “Vilnius – European Capital of Culture 2009”.  

From 2002 to 2009 worked as Undersecretary at the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania (areas of responsibility: museums, libraries, publishing, copyright and media policy), having previously served in the same Ministry as political advisor and press officer.  

He also was a Chairman of the Board of Culture Support Foundation (2003-2004; 2006 – 2008). From 1997 to 1999 served as Public Relations Officer of Open Society Fund – Lithuania. 2004-2006 was elected Chairman of Ars Baltica Committee (Baltic Sea Regional cooperation network in the field of culture).  

R. Kvietkauskas also is lecturer of culture financing and lobbyism at K.Simonavičius University in Vilnius.
