Virginie DEVESA

Virginie Devesa is a co-founder and CEO of Alpha Violet - independent sales company based in Paris. She studied in Lyon, Kentucky, Seattle. First real experience in cinema she got in Kyiv as the member of the team organizing the “Molodist International Kyiv Film Festival”. Virginie is the European distributor of most well-known Ukrainian film The Tribe, which was sold to more than 30 countries and currently is a sales agent and co-producer of new film Luxembourg by Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy. 

The distribution catalogue of the company includes the movies of the high artistic level, mostly auteur films, which are the participants and winners of different film festivals. Such films as The Tribe by Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy, A Yellow Bird by K. Rajagopal, Journey to Portugal by Sergio Trefaut, The Summer of Flying Fish by Marcela Said, Mateo by Maria Gamboa, The Sound of the Trees by Francois Peloquin, Raging Rose by Julia Kowalski, Thirst by Svetla Tsotsorkova, A Double Life by Yoshiyuki Kishi and others.
