Graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University (M.A. in International Law, Translator from English and B.A. in International Relations).
Mr. Illyenko worked at the Department of International Law in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (1999 - 2000 yy). From 2000 to 2002 he worked as a senior research consultant and later as a chief scientific consultant in the department of humanitarian and international issues, the harmonization of legislation with the EU and the protection of human rights of the Main Scientific Expert Unit of Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada.
From 2002 to 2004 he served as legal adviser, and later as leading legal adviser of legal support department of the Directorate of Legal Support and contractual work at Ukrainian-American-Dutch-German Closed Joint Stock Company Utel. From 2004 to 2005 he worked as a leading legal adviser of legal department at Utel’s subsidiary company JSC Ukrtelecom.
From 2006 to 2008 Mr. Illyenko worked as CEO of LLC Legal Company Ilienko and Sizov and from 2008 to 2014 was CEO of Ilienko film Ltd.
In addition, Philip Illyenko is also an actor (more than 10 roles). In particular, he acted in such movies as Forest Song. Mavka, The Legend of Princess Olga, Straw Bells, Swan Lake. Zone, Ave Maria, A Short Trip on The Big Carousel, The Pray for Hetman Mazepa, Goverla.
Philip Illyenko was engaged to produce the feature film The Pray for Hetman Mazepa. The new version (directed. Y. Ilyenko, 2010) And Toloka (directed by M. Illyenko). Since 2007 he was a co-producer of the festival Open Night, and from 2009 to 2014 became its producer. Since 2000 Mr. Illyenko ia dealing with social and public activity, he’s a co-founder and member of the Board of the public organization Nareshtі (Eng. Finally), which organizes Open Night festival.
