Elena Fetisova is Ukrainian director, scriptwriter and producer. In 1987, she graduated from All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography). In 2009, she got a Master's degree in audiovisual production of European Academy EAVE, Luxembourg. Elena wrote, directed and produced a number of films, which were selected and won awards at International Film Festivals worldwide.
In 2009, Elena as a producer received Ukrainian State Award for the Best Film for Children and in 2013 was awarded by National State Award of Armenia in the field of Art for the film Paradjanov.
From 2009 till 2013 Elena as producer, scriptwriter and director was releasing her debut feature film Paradjanov (co-production of Ukraine, France, Georgia and Armenia). The film premiered on the Official Competition at 2013 Karlovy Vary IFF and got the Golden Duke Prize for the best Ukrainian film at Odessa IFF in 2013 and Jury Prize of Tallin Black Nights Film Festival.
