Sue Hayes is a self-employed international consultant and advisor of film and TV production. She specializes in partnerships, creating networks and developing expertise of client companies and individuals. For approximately 10 years Sue worked as Film Commissioner at media agency Film London where she succeeded in international collaboration, especially on the US and European markets.
As the London Film Commissioner, she was able to turn London’s reputation as being an extremely difficult city in which to make a production, into one seen as a key global location.
In 1979 and 1983, Sue was a director of Edinburgh International Television Festival and later worked as a producer with TV companies such as Channel 4, ITV, US Networks and Granada TV, The History Channel and AETN. This morning, Granada reports, Afternoon Plus, Weekend World, Compass, High Hopes, Arthur & Phil go off, Edinburgh inside out are well-known Sue’s projects on British TV. Also Sue Hayes is a member of BAFTA (The British Academy of Film and Television Arts), AFCI (International Association of Film Commissioners) and WFTV (the premier membership organization for women working in creative media in the UK).
