Brigitta Manthey is a Funding Expert at the film fund of Germany’s capital region (Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg) since 1995. She is responsible for the evaluation of film projects in all stages, in specific for Eastern European Co-Productions and for the reader’s department.
Brigitta Manthey was a board-member of the national New German Film Board Foundation from 1998 to 2010 (Kuratorium Junger Deutscher Film).
From 2008 to 2013 Brigitta Manthey was an expert at EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs).
She is a member of international film juries and trainer for film professionals.
Brigitta Manthey has headed the Film Department at the main literary center in Berlin (Literarisches Colloquium Berlin) where she also produced documentaries.
