ALEXANDER KUCHEROV

Alexander Kucherov was born in Kiev in 1983.  He graduated from Cybernetics Faculty of T.G. Shevchenko Kiev State University.

In 2002 he started working in CG field in mental dRive studio, company with which he still works in close partnership.  

Over 11 years of working in VFX industry Alexander was involved in more than 30 film projects. Among these projects Ukrainian production films (Haytarma, Love Sickness) Russian production (Night Watch, Day Watch, Wolfhound, Black Lightning, Yolki 2 and other) and US production (The Marine 2, Death Race 2, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning 3D).

Mental dRive studio, for which Alexander works as CG Supervisor, is the first Ukrainian company that made visual effects for feature film in 3D format.
