Russian World Studios one of the leading Russian companies has joined Ukrainian Content Market

Russian film company Russian World Studios has extended the list of UCM-participants and booked suit №338 at the market floor.

Russian World Studios/RWS established in 1998 by Yuriy Sapronov and Andrei Smirnov is one of the largest film and television production and distribution companies across Russian market.

Today the company has released over 600 film and television projects, including 20 international titles. The studio has inked partnership agreements with Sony Pictures Television International, Hallmark Entertainment, HBO Films, Beacon Pictures and other world-known industry leaders. RWS offers a wide range of film production services as well as distribution. Its sale’s department licenses in-house film and TV productions to the international market. The company’s offices are located in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Among RWS’ content-buyers are channels and broadcasters operating in Russia and CIS countries, namely Channel One Russia, Russia 1, CTC, NTV, 1+1 (Ukraine), Inter (Ukraine), Israel Plus (also known as Channel 9) and many others.

In 2012 the company has already launched a chain of TV-shows, including An Affair of Honour, Victoria, Leaving to find you. Part 2, historical drama Vasylysa Kozhyna, and such TV-series as Saxophone Solo, God has His own Plan, True love, etc. All these and previous products will be presented in its catalogue during Ukrainian Content Market.
