Russian VoD service provider, company Stream, which has registered as a buyer to participate in Ukrainian Content Market, expands its presence in Ukraine and Belarus.
“As a company, which is partially owned by MTS, we are interested in the countries, where MTS presence is the biggest, because it is these countries, where we have the most opportunities for marketing and promotion of our product”- said Inna Shalyto, Stream’s CEO, in her interview for C21Media.
Stream expands their content variety and adds more programs and films for children. Company plans to launch new service for children this year, while for now a small amount of children’s content is available on their web-portal Stream.ru. Recently Stream has signed a deal with Disney. Moreover, they work with such American companies as 20th Century Fox, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Warner Bros и Miramax.
Last week ITV Inter Medya, a leading distributor from Turkey, has joined Ukrainian Content Market and booked suite #357.
ITV Inter Medya is a film distribution company founded in 1992. ITV has been distributing films in Turkey until 2001, and since 2002 company has expanded its distribution area to cover Central & Eastern European territories, CIS countries and the Baltic States. ITV’s catalogue holds over 800 films from all over the world. At UCM they will focus on distribution of Turkish content. Year 2012 is special for ITV Inter Medya, as it marks the 20th anniversary of the company.
