Victoria Yarmoshchuk will coordinate strategic development of film industry in Ukraine. She is currently on a position of Advisor to the Minister of culture of Ukraine, Executive Director of Ukrainian Motion Picture Association and CEO of Media Resources Management – Ukrainian media consultancy. Victoria joined the team of Presidential Advisor on Humanitarian Affairs Volodymyr Borodyanskiy and will coordinate the work of film industry experts, determining the perspectives and priorities for the further development of Ukrainian AV sector.
It’s worth mentioning, that the humanitarian strategy development is one of the top priority tasks Mr. Borodyanskiy is responsible for. The strategy implies the fundamental changes in humanitarian sphere, establishing the solid basis for cultural development at all stages and increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian products worldwide. Building firm foundation for positive changes, including new effective legislation and infrastructure transformation are among the key tasks of the program. For the new strategy implementation, a roadmap will be developed by the group of top industry experts, each responsible for the certain directions, namely: museums, sanctuaries, theaters, music, conservatories, philharmonic societies, films, religion, libraries, books, media (TV media, press, radio), social and online media, information security, sports, tourism and charity.

Traditionally, I invite everyone to address to Victoria, as well as to other coordinators, with your proposals that you consider are important for the development of a particular humanitarian area”, – commented Volodymyr Borodyanskiy.

It’s worth mentioning, that Victoria`s key field of expertise is media projects management, organization of international events, Ukrainian and CIS region media industry development and representation of the local media market at international level. Her working experience in the media sphere is more than 18 years.
Since 2006 and till present time she is a CEO of media consultancy Media Resources Management (MRM), the organizer of the international media forum KYIV MEDIA WEEK (since 2011).
Victoria is a speaker and moderator at numerous industry events and conferences, regular participant of key international markets and festivals including MIPTV and MIPCOM, NATPE Miami / Budapest, LA Screenings, Berlinale, Marché du Film, Beijing International Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival and many others.
Since 2012 Victoria is a Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. In 2016 she has become an Executive Director of Ukrainian Motion Picture Association and got the National Award of Ukraine ‘Teletriumf’ for her personal significant contribution to the promotion and popularization of Ukrainian media industry and Ukraine globally.
It is also worth mentioning that Victoria actively participated in development of strategies for creative industries in Ukraine together with local and international organizations and authorities, including First National consultations aiming to develop the creative industries export strategy, organized by Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and International Trade Centre (ІТС), and Expert Deployment for Governance and Economic Growth, EDGE – strategic session for 5-year planning organized by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
Since 2018, Victoria Yarmoshchuk has been an Advisor to the Minister of Culture of Ukraine.
