Welcome coffee from S. Nicholas

Super Nicholas – the character of a new family comedy Adventures of S. Nicholasfrom the company Big Hand Films. The film's director is Semen Gorov. The lead roles were performed by the actress and TV host Masha Efrosinina and the strongest man in the world Vasyl Virastyuk. The producer of the film is Maria Keil, the author of the script is Anton Baselinsky. 

S. Nicholas, or Super Nicholas – a new national hero for both children and adults. Because Adventures of S. Nicholas is a story about growing up, faith in a fairy tale, and how miracles can turn the life around for the better, give joy, friendship and love. 

The film tells about the adventures of the 9-year-old Artem, whose family recently moved from a big city to a small house in the Carpathian mountains. All of the sudden on the eve of the St. Nicholas Day, he comes across S. Nicholas. But his excitement sours when he realizes that this is a thief in the wizard’s stolen coat. The boy, his teenage sister and local children all together have to find the courage, use imagination and do their best in order to defeat a thief, rescue the real S. Nicholas and save the real Saint.

Release date: December 13, 2018, on the eve of St. Nicholas Day. 

The film project became one of the winners of the Tenth competitive selection for film projects from the Ukrainian State Film Agency and received state funding for the film production.

The company Big Hand Films was founded in 2013 and is engaged in feature films production and distribution, supports debutant directors and participates in film festivals.
