Rami Lindholm, TV-director at the Finnish national broadcaster YLE, who was engaged in the production of Eurovision, will tell how innovative software helps television producers and directors of large-scale live-format projects.
YLE is a Finnish national broadcaster, which includes many divisions: nationwide TV channels, international TV channels, national and local radio stations, as well as Internet radio.
Rami Lindholm is a TV-director at YLE, his portfolio includes simple shooting using one camera, as well as projects of global scale, such as the Eurovision song contest. He specializes in finding new ways to create television content and supporting large multimedia projects using the most advanced technologies and previously untested tools. He is the person who knows how to manage production process of live shows, and also – how to overcome difficulties, managing the production as effectively as possible.
In the course of his workshop at KMW, Mr. Lindholm will talk about the specifics of the work of television producers and directors of large-scale live projects, in particular, software solutions that can optimize the work of a large team. He will also talk about working with Cuepilot – software from managing live shows and Dramatify – a mobile production platform for management of television, cinema and other related spheres.
‘There has been a huge demand for digital tools that make productions smooth. TV-shows are getting bigger and bigger and more complex with many screens, set ups, graphics, props etc. The point is that the softwares that have been available until now, are made for news or dramas. Demands for entertainment shows are different’, – explains Rami Lindholm.
In his keynote he will talk about his own projects implemented with the help of Dramatify and Cuepilot, and complex multimedia products using the most advanced technologies.
Workshop by Rami Lindholm ‘Software solutions for teamwork. Plan, manage and direct live shows’ will take place on the third day of KYIV MEDIA WEEK (September 19) from 18:20 till 19:00.
Also, earlier this day KMW participants will see a workshop by Annika Lidne, CEO and co-founder of Dramatify. She will talk about the features of working with this platform, focusing on the possibilities of its application in the large-scale production of a film or a series with a large number of filming days.
