Workshop ‘Cloud services for film and TV production: Work smarter and faster’, dedicated to Dramatify platform – a unique and multi-functional project management tool in the industry will be held on September 19 at KYIV MEDIA WEEK.

Dramatify is a revolutionary Swedish start-up in the field of production management of television, cinema, VR projects and other related spheres. In 2015, when Dramatify platform existed only in beta, it was called ‘one of the most innovative start-ups in the field of television and video technologies in the world’ at MIPTV in Cannes.
Dramatify improves communication, automates routine tasks and reporting – thus saving time and minimizing risks. The fundamental difference between this platform and other apps for project management is that it was created taking into account the needs and specifics of television and film production.
It initially contains special software modules to coordinate all the necessary processes and work with all the necessary information: from scripts to call sheets, from filming day schedule to templates for compiling reports. The cloud service, available to every member of the team, at any time and on any device – computer, tablet, smartphone – allows to significantly increase the speed and efficiency of the production process, minimizing the risks of non-operational information, data loss, etc. Producers, assistant directors, managers, team, cast members – all are in a single system that helps to coordinate the work of a large number of people with completely different functions.
At the workshop organized with the support of Ukrainian State Film Agency and Dramatify, Annika Lidne will dive into how the transition from single-user and single-purpose software to modern multi-user complex solutions based on the cloud will help to work smarter and faster. Especially if it is a large-scale production of a film or a series: with a large number of filming days (15-100) and big team. And also – will share specific cases of international projects, optimized with the help of Dramatify platform.
