Call for entries for the non-scripted entertainment formats contest SMALL WORLD. BIG IDEAS 2018 starts on Monday, July 2. It will be fourth edition of the contest, but it’s for the first time that its final round will be held in the course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK.
The project is organized by Media Resources Management (Ukraine) and backed by partners – international distributor Small World IFT (USA) and the world’s biggest audiovisual content market MIPCOM (France). SMALL WORLD. BIG IDEAS opens up new opportunities for the authors of innovative entertainment projects, including independent producers and creators, representatives of big prodcos and TV channels. Whether you are a rookie or a pro in format business – you are absolutely welcome to try your hand in the international contest for the best idea in the genre of non-scripted entertainment show!
What we are looking for? SMALL WORLD. BIG IDEAS contest is in search for new original non-scripted entertainment formats (game, quiz, dating, travel, survival, reality show, etc.) at any development stage: from the paper format and to the program that has already been broadcast or commissioned.
Applications are accepted from July 2 to August 10, 2018. All submitted projects will be judged by the independent experts’ panel featuring Ukrainian and international media industry professionals with multiyear of experience in development, distribution and adaptation of formats.
Final round of the SMALL WORLD. BIG IDEAS contest will take place on September 17, 2018 in the course of the international media forum KYIV MEDIA WEEK (Kyiv, Ukraine).
SMALL WORLD. BIG IDEAS winner – the author of the best idea according to experts and partners of the competition, will get a great opportunity for professional growth at the international level, while the winning format will be kickstarted globally to win the hearts of audiences on all continents:
