Ukrainian adaptation of Korean format travels to India

India’s Zee Entertainment Enterprises has picked up four drama series from Scandinavian distributor Eccho Rights for its entertainment channel Zindagi. The package includes Ukrainian 100-episode melodrama ‘Snowdrop’, making it the first show from the country to be broadcasted in India.

Produced by Ukrainian company Front Cinema Production for Ukraine TV channel, the series is based on the original format Ice Adonis from South Korean prodco CJ E&M and follows two step-sisters divided by love and business interests. Ukrainian series premiered in 2015 showing strong performances.
