Presales of Stolen Princess Animation Made in More Than a Dozen Territories

On September 22, the 7th conference “Television as Business”, held in the course of international media forum KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2016, opened with a panel discussion “Summit of Media Leaders”. The panel consisted of the President of the Ukrainian TV channel ICTV Aleksandr Bogutskiy, CEO of 1+1 Media Aleksandr Tkachenko, director of the media holding Media Group Ukraine Evgeniy Liashchenko, and co-founder of the FILM.UA Group Sergei Sozanovsky.

The speakers noted on the improvement in the field of production of content, and brought attention to the appearance of Ukrainian products on the international market, like the recent success of  Studio Kvartal 95, who sold the rights to adapt the Servant of the People format to a major US studio Fox.

Sergei Sozanovsky spoke about the international success of the latest FILM.UA Group production projects. According to Sergei, the animation project Stolen Princess aroused great interest among foreign partners – the presale of the cartoon has been made in more than a dozen territories.

On September 21, it was revealed that the project Stolen Princess and the animated film Mavka. A Forest Song, based on the classic work of Lesia Ukrainka, which is still in development, will receive funding from the State Film Agency.
