Traditionally this autumn the international Film Business conference and workshop in the course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2016: Media business 360° will gather the film industry experts from all over the world. One of key speakers of the conference Svein Andersen is a Head of Production of FilmCamp, a film studio in the Northern part of Norway, which offers both funding, location service, complete infrastructure and other resources that are necessary for top international filmmaking. This year company celebrates its only 10 years anniversary having done 50 feature films and TV dramas: 20 international co-productions and 30 national and regional film productions.
During existence of the company, FilmCamp has invested only four millions Euros to production with the total approximate budget of all shot films of 50 million and almost 18 million were spent in the Northern region. This indicates a very strong development of the region and regional film business that in its turn influences on development of the Norwegian film industry at all. FilmCamp has alone attracted more international co-productions than all the other Norwegian regional Funds.
Svein Andersen will tell the participants of the conference about the way of management to attract the private investments to film business, about the international projects, how film industry develops the region at all, how the support from the government works and more other.
