KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2016 is Gaining Momentum

In less than 90 days the sixth annual media forum KYIV MEDIA WEEK will open its doors. Registration for all conferences and events in the course of KMW is in full swing – key players of the media industry in Ukraine and beyond day by day join the participants lists of Ukrainian Content Market (UCM), conferences FORMAT SHOW, Film Business, Television as business, PayTV in Ukraine, as well as the international co-production forum KIEV CoProduction Meetings.

In particular, key international distributors have already booked their stands at Ukrainian Content Market (UCM). Among them are:

BBC Worldwide (main commercial arm of BBC, UK). Traditionally before the Content Market in the course of a Format Show screening program, KMW participants will be able to see BBC Worldwide fresh formats’ lineup.

Televisa Internacional (Mexico / USA). One of the largest media companies in the Spanish-speaking world.  Company’s catalogue includes telenovelas, series, game and talent shows, as well as lots of great formats of scripted and non-scripted content, which have conquered the viewers’ hearts all over the world.

Global Agency (Turkey). Established in 2006, Global Agency is the world’s leading ‘independent’ TV content distributor of TV series, formats and films for global markets. Its slogan - “Content that Creates Buzz” is lived up through distribution of the company’s hit content.

Eccho Rights (Sweden). One of the leading international distributors with offices in Stockholm, Hong Kong and Istanbul, dealing with international sales of finished programs and formats of all genres.

FILM.UA Distribution (Ukraine). The company owns the rights to sell content produced by FILM.UA Group in Ukraine and abroad. It also acquires Ukrainian distribution rights to content produced around the world. At present, the company has signed over 1,000 contracts to sell content in more than 100 places around the world, from North America to East Asia.

Also, a number of sellers will join UCM 2016 as sellers: DRG (UK), MondoTV (Italy), Small World IFT (USA), IGMAR (Russia), all3media international (UK), Voice of America (USA) and others. 

The list of KMW 2016 participants also includes the key media groups, TV channels and prodcos from Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Israel, Germany, Lithuania, Slovakia and other countries.
