Mavka. The Forest Song is the Winner of KIEV CoProduction Meetings Pitching

On September 8 the third edition of KIEV CoProduction Meetings took place in the course of the V international media forum KYIV MEDIA WEEK. 

KIEV CoProduction Meetings is focused on theory and practice of international TV content co-production. And is the first content marketplace of our region designed for pitching and promotion of TV projects of different formats that look for co-production, as well as facilitate the co-production market in our region by allowing the local producers to cooperate with international TV projects.

This time only nine projects were selected from several dozens sent to take part in KIEV CoProduction Meetings Pitching – experts demanded them to be presented by their authors. Then, the jury chose out three best – The Tank, The Deal and Mavka. The Forest Song. The last one, presented by Iryna Kostyuk and Anna Eliseeva, won the main prize – free accreditation for Filmteractive Market in Lodz, Poland, which will be held from 22 to 24 September. 

Mavka. The Forest Song produced by Animagrad is in development at the moment. Budget is set at $5 mln. The project is planned to be in Ukrainian, English and Russian.
