FILM.UA Projects Attracted 200 Million Viewers by 2014

The projects produced by FILM.UA Group attracted about 200 mln. viewers by 2014, told Polina Tolmacheva, FILM.UA Group marketing director, while giving a presentation of a new FILM.UA Drama channel at the conference PayTV in Ukraine.

"As the name implies, FILM.UA Drama is a channel of favourite TV series", - said Polina. And what makes it very special is that almost all the programming is or will be locally made. There will be not only re-runs of already aired FILM.UA TV series, but also premieres. "We are planning at least six original episodes every day".

"We do really have the content to show!", - says Polina Tolmacheva. FILM.UA has thousands hours of original series and programmes. Produced by FILM.UA media group they attracted about 200 mln. viewers in 2014. And this year we expect much more. "We will show dramas, TV movies, and lots of thematic shows and programmes, devoted to TV and film production. Among them The TV Network (reviews of the new TV programmes), Backstage (the show about everything that happens on set), Mediachtivo (the highly recommended books on media with Polina Tolmacheva as a host), The Film Kitchen (cooking videos)".

VOLIA has become a partner of this new channel. For what reason? As Victoria Tsomaya, a ‎CMO at VOLIA, answered, it is because "we love Ukrainian content". A deal covers the exclusive broadcast of the FILM.UA Drama channel in VOLIA  packages (both in SD and HD), including Cine + VIP – its most popular film channels package. "We have been working together on different formats for many years. And the next step is the co-production of original content. This channel has a great potential, and we are happy to be the first to air it on the territory of Ukraine", she added.
