KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2011 participants continue to cooperate, thereby demonstrating to all media society the practical use of our events at the international level.

In that way Ukrainian prodco Studio Pilot (participant of KMW 2011, in particular of Ukrainian Content Market, Format Show and Television as Business conference) purchased from an Israeli distributor Armoza Formats (founder of the company Avi Amoza delivered a lecture on Format Show, presenting their new product to the audience) an option to produce a local version of a format The Green Project.  As is reported by Alexander Brykaylo, director of Studio Pilot, Ukrainian adaptation of the format is likely to remain with the same name as the original, however, it is yet unknown which channel will broadcast the new entertaining programme and in which time slot.

The Green Project – quiet an unusual sketch show. Initially, actors have a minimal set of objects, each sketch is filmed in the studio against a green screen, allowing with the help of computer graphics to create a landscape of a faraway planet, sunbeaten desert or a field of the battle of Roman legionaries. There are 7-10 sketches performed per episode, creating full 30-minute episodes.

Premiere of the original version of the Green Project took place in 2011 on Israeli TV channel Comedy Central. Last week the first international adaptation of this show debuted on a Lithuanian TV channel BTV . It has to be mentioned that, apart from Ukraine, buyers from Germany, Norway, Turkey and Portugal are also interested in this format.
