KMW participants’ news: USSR Beauty by FILM.UA, Masksym Osa by PRONTO FILM, Speculum by Enjoy Movies

USSR Beauty
Ukrainian group FILM.UA in co-production with local prodco PRONTO FILM finished shooting 12-episode drama with a tentative title USSR Beauty. Filming took place in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Lvov, Samargand and Minsk. 

Film USSR Beauty tells a story of one of the most famous Soviet Union’ fashion model Regina Zbarskaya who was called ‘Sophia Loren of USSR’.  

Maksym Osa
Ukrainian company PRONTO FILM in co-production with Polish colleagues is shooting mystery thriller Maksym Osa. Film is based on Ukrainian comic book by scriptwriter and artist Igor Baranko. 

The main character of the film is an ordinary Sich Cossack Maksym Osa who gets involved in international woes. Time of action - 1639. 

Speculum
Russian film company Enjoy Movies finished shooting Speculum horror movie. The project is in post-production. 

The plot of the film is a story about teenagers who decide to check mystical ‘city legend’ and to raise Queen of Spades spirit.
