International conference and screening Format Show is around the corner already - the event will be held on September 15th in Kyiv (Ukraine) in the course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2014. Aside from the rich screening program, the conference will bring to its audience attention a range of interesting speeches and reports, unveiling latest trends of the industry.

Analytical partner of the upcoming Format Show - Eurodata TV Worldwide (France) is getting prepared a special report for the conference’s participants: WORLD OF FORMATS, FORMATS IN THE WORLD: THE INTERNATIONAL SEDUCTION CAMPAIGN.

"In 2013, viewers around the world watched 3 hours 14 minutes of television per day.  This is the third highest world viewing time, after records in 2011 and 2012. The public’s growing appetite for television has been mainly stimulated by formats, and of which a very large majority were scripted series, fiction being at the centre of the revival in the format market.

There has already been a creative effervescence in the TV scripted series’ sector for the past few seasons and this has encouraged new players and contents from diverse origins.  American series now only count for one third of imported series internationally and Europe now stands out as the key supplier of locally produced series with international success.

During Format Show 2014 Eurodata TV Worldwide will present analyses in figures and images, which show the inventory of formats production -mainly focused on fiction formats, the markets behind this revival and consumer trends", - comments Nassima Boudi (Sales manager at Eurodata TV Worldwide).
