KYIV MEDIA WEEK Will Hold an Animation Workshop in the Course of LINOLEUM 2014

KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2014 (KMW) has been chosen to be a partner of the Ninth International Fest of Contemporary Animation and Media Art LINOLEUM which is bound to be held in Kyiv for the first time since its inception in 2006. Moscow was the Fest venue throughout its entire history. KMW contribution to LINOLEUM 2014 will be a workshop for well-established professionals and beginners in animation. Detailed information on the Workshop will be announced next week.

Garry Bardin, a well-known Russian animator (stop-motion and clay animation), screen writer and director will be the President of LINOLEUM 2014. Moreover, his popular characters (many and diverse) have been known to speak with his own voice.

It is also worth reminding that the Film Business conference in the course of KMW will be held on September 17, 2014. A new workshop on animation will be presented at Film Business 2014. In the course of Animation Workshop such issues will be discussed: production, distribution, licensing, merchandizing and global marketing in terms of animation projects.
