Format Show is a one day conference and screening of the newest and the most popular TV formats that will be held on September 15th in the course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2014. The conference participants will have an opportunity to get acquainted with new TV formats by core international distributors from all around the world, and to listen to speeches of the leading experts in the sphere of TV formats from Europe, USA and Ukraine.
The program of Format Show 2014 will include:
- SCREENING SESSIONS (4 x 40’) in the course of which the newest and the most popular TV formats of non-scripted and scripted content from all around the world will be presented. The following international format distributors will premier their ‘hot from the oven’ titles: FremantleMedia (UK), Global Agency (Turkey), Endemol Group (UK), Armoza Formats (Israel), NBCUniversal (UK), VIMN (USA), Small World IFT (USA), Banijay International (UK), Telemundo Internacional (USA), Twofour Rights (UK), Televisa Internacional (USA) and others;
- REPORT BY EURODATA TV WORLDWIDE. Proposes analyses in figures and images, which show the inventory of formats production — mainly focused on fiction formats, the markets behind this revival and consumer trends. Presented by Nassima Boudi, International Sales Manager, Eurodata TV Worldwide (France);
- UA FORMATS.The complete catalogue of Ukrainian TV formats UA Formats will be presented to the international audience. Ukrainian TV formats are successfully adapted abroad (including Russia) for the last couple of years, but what is essential, that for the first time ever Ukrainian formats presentation will be done in due form of all international format business standards. UA Formats will include both popular formats and unique content that is new to the international market. UA Formats project is meant to be fundamental for Ukrainian format business and aims to introduce unique developments of local market on the international level. The UA Formats catalogue will include original formats created by the leading Ukrainian prodcos, TV channels and producers;
- THE SCRIPTED FORMAT BOOM. Presented by Nicola Söderlund, Managing Partner, Eccho Rights, Sweden.
