UCM'14 Participants' News: 1+1 Media Group to Launch Int'l News Channel

On August 11, 2014, 1+1 Media Group will launch the international news television channel Ukraine Today in test mode. Starting from August 24, the channel will be broadcast in full.

The newly created newsroom that will be part of the Department of Information Broadcasting of 1+1 Media Group will be responsible for the channel’s content aired in English.

The television channel will be free and available via Hotbird satellite in the territory of Europe this year, and in the United States starting from next year. Among the newsroom, in addition to Ukrainians, will also be citizens of the EU.
