As it was promised, this year Format- Show will concentrate not only on the TV shows formats, but will also include the scripted formats. On September 14 at the Format- Show there will be held a special panel discussion dedicated to the series genre. The participants of this panel discussion are high-caliber professionals who are justly considered to be the best in the sphere of series production in our region’s market. Timur Weinstein, the founder and general producer of WeiT Media company, will play the role of the moderator, while among the speakers will be Yuriy Sapronov, the general director of Russian World Studios , Viktor Prykhodko, general producer of PRO-TV company and Tatiana Hnedash, general producer of the Television and Radio Broadcasting company “Ukraine”.
The discussion will be built around hot topics of the series production such as production of formats, production of original screenplays, on-order production or self-sponsored production, the preferences of the audience etc.
Each participant of the panel discussion has a vast successful business experience at the tv series market. For instance, among the latest big series projects of WeiT Media it’s worth to mention “Stand-in Actress”, “The Hostess of my Fate”, “The Real Life”, “Object 11” and “The Time for Love”. It is Timur Weinstein who is directly involved in the production of one of the most successful format series “Happy Together”. RWS Company, in its turn, produced such series as “Poor Nastya”, “The Heart of Maria”, “The Medical Assessors”, “Breathe with me”, “Hindu”, “The Coast Guard”, “The Red Haired” and others. PRO-TV Company is known mainly for their military series such as “1941” and “1942” , “ The War Ended Yesterday ” as well as multi-episode series projects like “The return of Muhtar”, “Nine lives of Nestor Makhno”, and “I thank you for everything” among others. Finally, Tatiana Hnedash is the author of such soap operas as “Marusya”, “Tomorrow will be Tomorrow”, “ The sky in Polka Dots” , “Search of Love”, “Cactus and Elena” and a mega hit “Dairymaid from Khatsapetovka” etc.

After the panel discussion is over, there will be held a screening of the newest and most popular tv series formats from the international series major, the Telemundo company.
