51st edition of international audiovisual content market MIPTV took place in Cannes last month. The two-day conference MIPFormats held on April 5-6 in the course of MIPTV with screenings of the debut formats as well as the most successful ones was one of the key events. . On the 7th of April, the market’s opening day, potential hit-products of the TV formats business (the organizers select the formats launched successfully by broadcasters worldwide and upcoming format premieres having high potential) were presented during FRESH TV screenings.

Those who reach the finals get a special opportunity to find love. In the event of a mutual match - the winning couple wins a one-week culinary journey.
Reality
Host in the Box; Origin: Germany, Premiere: February 2014, Distributor: Endemol International
Each episode, the host is locked in a wooden box and shipped off to a different location equipped with nothing but burning curiosity and the box he/she arrive in. The host must adapt to a completely different lifestyles than what he is used to. By immersing himself into daily activities and completing tasks, he will have a better understanding of his world. Before the host is shipped off on a new adventure, the deciding question is asked: is this new lifestyle for him?
Worth mentioning, that TV format from Ukraine was presented at MIPFormats screenings - 1+1 Media’s reality The Family. In 2012 its concept became a winner of Ideas Pitching held in the course of media forum KYIV MEDIA WEEK.
The show follows two singletons accepting a “blind wedding”. The couple is selected by a team of experts based on psychological, astrological and practical affinity of the potential partners. As long as the experiment lasts the participants have to live together as well as manage family budget and cope routine problems.

One young contestant has to beat an opponent with a special talent or special skill. The twist: the opponent is always a senior person.

8 celebrity couples move in luxury villa for 30 days. Each couple gets €10,000 they have to invest in the game. They face extreme challenges testing how well they really know and support each other.
