CAN’T STOP media signs off 3 Scripted Reality formats for adaptation in Ukraine

Just ahead of the next KYIV MEDIA WEEK, that will start September 10, 2013 in Ukraine, CAN’T STOP media announces that 3 of its scripted reality formats are heading to Ukraine. ICTV, one of the leading free TV broadcaster, is producing Ukrainian series of “Customs Investigators” (8x48 min) and “Special Forces” (9x48 min), two Action scripted reality formats from German producer BLUEPRINT Entertainment. Both shows have been airing in prime-time on RTL2 with the 2d series of “Special Forces” launching soon in Germany. CAN’T STOP media and ICTV also recently agreed on the pilot production for a 3^rd scripted reality format (also from BLUEPRINT Entertainment): “Faster Than the Police Allows”.

Damien Porte, in charge of the region and who’ll be attending the next Kyiv Media Week says: “As we were launching these 3 shows globally, we knew the German production know-how in scripted reality would travel well in the region. Ultimately, Ukraine, an early adopter of global formats, was the first country to come on-board. Now we’ll be looking to extend partnership with broadcasters in Russia and other CIS countries. The economies of scale gained by the production set-up allow producers to deliver high quality entertainment, based on proven rating successes, at very effective cost”.
