Amedia prodco has booked exhibition suit at UCM 2013

One of the biggest Russian producers of television films Amedia company has joined Ukrainian Content Market and booked exhibition suit # 308 at the market floors.

Amedia was founded in 2002. The company’s annual production volume is over 200 hours of content in various genres – dramas, mysteries, thrillers, romantic comedies and sitcoms.

Amedia pioneered industrial methods of TV drama production in Russia and was the first to launch coproduction with major Hollywood studios. Romantic drama series Poor Anastasia, the first project produced by the company, had great success in Russia and was sold to 25 countries across the world.

The company’s library includes about 3000 hours of content and nearly 70 titles. The first Russian sitcom My Fair Nanny, romantic drama series Don´t Be Born Beautiful and Tatiana´s Day, supernatural thriller The Closed School and others are among the best known company’s hit shows. 

Company started broadcast operations in 2011 with the launch of Amedia branded basic cable/satellite TV channel in Russia and CIS.

Among Amedia’s partners are such well-known companies as: Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox Film Corporation, CBS Corporation, Televisa, NBC Universal and others.
