Distribution arm of Sverdlovsk Film Studio has joined Ukrainian Content Market

Distribution Group STRANA, operated by Sverdlovsk Film Studio, has joined UCM and booked suit № 334 at the market floor.

Group STRANA is a distribution wing of Sverdlovsk Film Studio founded in 2005. It licenses movies, documentaries and animations produced by Sverdlovsk Film Studio as well as products of different indies.

Sverdlovsk Film Studio is Russian production company based in Yekaterinburg (formerly Sverdlovsk), established on February 4, 1943. The studio creates, promotes, distributes and shows cinema films, TV-series and advertisements across Russia and CIS countries.

Its catalogue covers a wide range of popular projects which have achieved success at many famous Russian and international film festivals, namely The Spirit of Fire, , The law and society, Crime and punishment, Anti-hero, documentary The first on the Moon, romantic comedy Let me kiss you, drama Love story or a new year trick, feature Admiral, drama The house of the Sun and others. The studio is behind the production of more than 210 features and 600 documentaries, hundreds of science-fiction films, over 100 animations and 4500 mini-series.

Sverdlovsk Film Studio is not the only representative of classical film school at Ukrainian Content Market, the list of UCM-participants also includes Ukranimafilm and Centrnauchfilm.
